The Hero’s Journey: Community Cast Call-Out

Be part of ‘The Hero’s Journey’ at Knotty Festival 2024.

The Afri-Co-Lab Community Theatre Company is inviting local folks in Hastings and Rother to participate in ‘The Hero’s Journey,’ a unique and unforgettable performance premiering on the 14th June 2024 at the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery.

Together you will write, create and devise the show working with local industry professionals to make an epic offering for local audiences.

Opportunities include joining the performing cast, contributing to the creative team (in roles such as set, costume, and sound design), or becoming a show guide to assist the audience during the performance.

Creative Team Sign Up: If performing isn’t the right fit, fear not, the company needs assistance in creating sets, making costumes, and recording sound designs.

Performing Cast Sign Up: For those considering joining the community performing cast, please review the rehearsal dates on the Afri-Co-Lab website, as full attendance is required.

Show Guides Sign Up: If attending all rehearsal dates poses a challenge, there’s still an opportunity to contribute as a show guide. ‘The Hero’s Journey’ will be adventure around Hastings Museum, it will need people to guide the audience through the performance and around the museum.
